• Annually submits proposals to the Parliamentary Sub-Committee on environment of amendment to the environmental legislation, particularly in areas where CBE identifies gaps or inadequacies (2000-2005).

• Drafted and submitted the Mines and Minerals (Mineral Royalty Tax) Amendment Bill for presentation to parliament as a Private Members Motion.(2004)

• Collaborated with the Legal Enforcement Component of the Environmental Support Project of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources on the harmonization of environmental legislation (2000-2003)

• Serves as committee member of the National Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) Management Committee. Participated in the drafting of the National PCBs Policy and National Implementation Plan for Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) (2002-2005)

• Served on the committee that drafted the 2000-2010 National Solid Waste Management Policy and National Solid Waste Management Plan (2001-2004)

• Served on the committee that drafted the National Policy on Environment (2003-2005)
