• In conjunction with Komex International of Canada, CBE conducted the Environmental Assessment (EA) on behalf of the World Bank and Government of the Republic of Zambia for the Copperbelt Environment Project (CEP). CEP is an environmental mitigation project aimed at cleaning-up environmental legacies of past mining activities including lead poisoning in Kabwe (2001)

• In conjunction with the University of Zambia, CBE conducted the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for Fitwaola Open Pit Project for Konkola Copper Mines (2005)

• In conjunction with the University of Zambia, CBE conducted the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for Chingola Refractory Ores for Konkola Copper Mines

• Conducted the Initial Environmental Review for Afrope (Z) Limited (2005)

• Conducted a developmental Impact Assessment of European Investment Bank Loans in Zambia in the context Lome and Cotonou Protocols (2005)
